i know what ya mean thats why im doing my own ive just bought a charger and a engine pulley thts it..lol heres a thought that i found out the other day. if you go to your local bmw or mini dealer and ask for a eaton charger 2nd hand.. they have quite a few that they need to get rid of as when the coopers come back for the works kit the charger gets changed aswell... food for thought for ya..

got abit bored today so i put my ali subframe mounts on my rear subframes and my calipers on my hubs yay!

helloshk! bought these from ebay for me racer to hold the front end on. got them for half the price that demon tweeks/halfrauds and what not would sell them at... thing is the advertise these as "stainless steel" well yeah.. the pins are... but theyve put cheapo zinc plated m10 nuts in with the nice shiny stainless bolts hahaha you pay for what you get in life ay!

is there something special about your subframes ie the aluminium or stainless???? as they are very shiny????????

haha oh that old thing.. haha there powdercoated silver.. always have them done on my minis.. last ten times longer than paint does... best thing ive tryed to date really.. cheap too costs me £25 to have a subframe shot balsted and powdercoated

hey howdy hey!.lol just a quick update.. got my rad back from my mate the other day... god it looks goooood haha not bad for saying its completely bespoke 1 off for £250,.Also ill be off to IMM on sunday with my mate and his trailer. Gutted that this one didnt make it as it wld of bin nice but.. spose you cnt do other peoples minis at the same time can ya haha. anyways have a loko and let me know what ya think?

Where did you source your supercharger from bud? I'm looking into this as a long term project and just wondering where people have got them from.

got mine off ebay for £200 which aint bad really. just got deleivery milage on it and its a 5th generation one so its alll goood.lol

ooOOoo one off exhaust...sounds interesting. You doing anything particularly flashy with it or did you just want one lol?

cheers parklane!! yeah its ali. yeah defo a one off and flashy.. not seen it done like this yeat. close but not the same... dnt want to give too much away at the mo but lets just say theres 2 of them...lol

Ahhhh and so another MITP at pod goes by and i still havent got the mini done... Definatly will be ready for 2010!! if its not ill attach a ht lead from the dizzy to my ball sack for half an hour! hahahahaha! just waiting on a job at the minute really so i can afford things again.. id love to work with minis but dnt want to start up myself.. bit crap really.. Anyways next thing to buy is the manilow lcb then its being sent off for the exhaust to me made up for it... absolutly gutted about that aswell as i saw 1 other mini today that has it! damn it this is taking too long now haha
