yeah the cross drilling cost me £65 but he balanced the crank for me anyway. i think i full rotating assembly balance from m.e.d is £75 but u can have everything balanced seperatly now at m.e.d they usein a dynamic balance system or sumthin now...

Just a quick post. Me and my bro are moving..... To sunny shefield... when i say movin... i mean the mini side of us. we've just rented a workshop do to our minis and others in. its pretty cool because its 20 ft wide by 50 ft long so.. plenty of minis to get in there. we move next month so we have a month to get everything ready to take i.e compressor welders and what not.. fingers crossed for us!

Thanks for the swift reply..

I reckon I'll have to get the body work done etc and get it back on the road, get the induction kit built and new 'swan necks' on the webber and see what she drives like..

Maybe do the super charger in a years time etc.

Your build is gonna be awesome!!

RESPECT

Allan

Cheers man. let me know if uve got a post up man i love seeing what people can do with minis its awesome. i just love workin on them or helpin mates out with them.
Also good news! after 4 months of waitin i got my head bk today from simon... fair play to him hes done a fantastic job on the head. i know he gets alot of stick for runnin late but theres alot of work that goes into stuff he makes and people dont realise it takes time speically when youve got a backlog of peoples work to do.. in my experience with him, and whats hes said to me is if you dont push him you dont get.... i pushed and got my head back in a week...
He couldnt quite get 28cc from the chambers in time as i wanted it back so hes gonna take 2cc from my omegas dish instead on friday. plus ill get my charger pulley aswell..
Anyway enjoy the pics of simon morsons work himself.

I love the dash you've made! Is there a Stack gauge I see there?

wow what a day! got up at 5 this morning to picl up our carbon firbe front end this morning only thing was.. it was in bloody devon!!! 3 and a half hours later from nottingham we got there.. i have to say at first glance the arc angels place didnt look like much but after close inspection ive not seen better fiberglass and carbon panels. see for yourself. only thing was tho that he wastn happy with the bonnet hed made for us as we asked for a carbon fibre bonnet mk1 style with the weave showing but he had probloems with the gel coat so hes makin another and posting it free of charge! fantastic!

cost £300 for the front end including mk1 bonnet with weave shwoing and £150 for fibre glass dorrs which are soooo much better than curley!
