Well it finally come to that sacred time in every rebuild. Paying a visit to the MOT man

Earlier on in the week Delilah went to see a gentlemen called Sam out in Suckley near Worcester. Once there Delilah got the works new points, new condenser, new contacts, new cap. Also the dizzy had seized so he freed that up. The timing was then set to spot on, the mixture was sorted and finally my dear mini was put on a rolling road!

Now during the very first run she just chucked out black smoke and filled the poor guys garage up. But saying that i dont think she had done more than up and down a street in the last 4 years so we will forgive her.

Cant comment on what she was producing as Sam said because Delilah is kinda bedding in again so to speak he didnt want to do a full power run but at least he ot the emmissions down to somewhere near an MOT level.

I cannot praise Sam enough he is a top bloke and if anybody ever needs a rolling road and tune in the Worcester area then check out D.N.Griffiths Engineering in Suckley!

So Delilah is about to step up for her first MOT in 12 years at 10am tomorrow morning. :D

I hope she passes :D

Anybody got any last minute suggestions of things i might check?

And keep your fingers crossed!! :dontgetit:
