Hi,

I have just purchased my first ever Mini, a 1983 Austin Mini! I need some power for my sat nav but there doesn't appear to be a cigarette lighter. Is it hiding from me somewhere? If it doesn't have one is it possible to put one in??

Thank god i found this awesome sight!

I dont believe mini's were ever fitted with cigarette lighters as standard, but they are relatively easy to fit and mount, depending on your needs really! If you try a search (on a tab in the upper right hand side of the screen) you may turn up something more useful than me!

They are very easy to wire in, most motor factors sell them, and then it just a case of a few wires. - I have 3, one for Sat nav when needed, one for Ipod and a spare, for phone, etc, etc - I'm lazy

But as above, if you search there may even be a guide on how to do it.
