None, that are worthwhile. Even KAD admit it does nothing to improve stopping.

You could get some super Minifin drums.

There not really made to improve breaking, as said above even kad say the breaking isnt really improved, however the advantage is removing unspring weight...

It doesnt improve braking at all as said above, it just reduces weight.

Handbrake?

The suspension beam is more interesting, take it it's not a road car?

IIRC, the age of Pauls car means its exempt from the rule stating handbrake and foot brake must be two separate systems.

Correct.

It is a road car, the trailing arm is homemade too from T45 seamless 18swg tubing

What year did this change? My GTM is registered as a '70 (Although it's an '83) and I suppose rear discs will do more with it being mid engined.

The MOT states "Any vehicle built after 1963 must have a seperate mechanically operated handbrake"

I dont think it'll make any difference where the engine is, you still want the majority of your braking effort on the front.

Looks like some nice work. Do you have a handbrake at all, a valve...

some of that beam must be hiding surely, looks like a single piece of 1" sq tube in the piccy :shy:
