Hi there, I'm new to this so please be patient.
My husband is doing up a 1979 mini and is having real problems with the dashboard. he is using the original but want to know where he can get the boxes to go behind the doors if at all possible. Or if anyone knows where you can get custom made.

I enquired about this when I brought my dashboard from Custom Consoles and the bloke on the other end of the phone told me that I'd have to look around scrap yards for old rovers and salvage the glovebox compartment from one of those, I'm sure there must be something more easily available out there though.

[Custom Consoles for Minis]

We have had a number of requests for the glove box compartments in the last year and are going to look into getting some produced next year. Our original decision not to have a compartment was that the area (one trimmed) behind the door gave a lot more usable storage then the small plastic liners.
