The "Box" what i believe your describing is the starter relay, it could well be a faulty relay which is causing your problem but it could also be the relay isnt getting a live feed ( on a relay ther are two live feeds, one is a switched live to control the switchover, the second is the main feed to deliver the power to the comonent which needs the extra current) , if its the metal bodied type ive took the metal cover off and cleaned up the contacts to some sucess, but as there not expensive its just as easy to buy a new one.

Have you tried jump starting it, sounds like a flat/faulty battery, they often give no warning of problems at all, just won't start one morning.

You may be able to get those relays at your local motorfactor, just make sure the current ratings are the same as per each relay, especially for the starter as it draws a huge current.

If you flattened it yesterday and it won't start today, i'd still say the battery has had it, when they are over discharged it takes a really good set of jump leads to start again as the completely flat battery will take all the power trying to charge. That's if it will go at all, some cheap jump leads won't let enough power through to start a moped let alone a car engine. If you have a charger put it on charge and leave it overnight then take it to somebody to check out (most fast fit centres will check it for nothing)

so ive just got to change my starter relay i hope as its a newish battery ive ha two recharge it 3 times and that was a full 12 hours (over night) so it must just be the starter relay as its just clicking from it and newt is happening and has never done the before untill now so that must be the problem :proud:
