it doesnt add up to me. says its a 92 cooper bus has a clubby front end. LOL

So you think its worth it then, i'll give him a ring this eve and hopefully go c it, i'll try and get some more pics of it aswell. I'm thinking engine conversion, maybe 1.6 civic? could it be done easily with this car? How much you reckon it would cost?

For a vtec conversion your looking at 4-5k unless you go into fabricating your own subframe...

looks like i'll be sticking to the standard 1275 then, what are the best mods to buy first? Straight through pipe? air filter?

First look at either a Stage 1 kit or parts of it (manifolds, air filter, etc), then you should either look at upgrading suspension/brakes or camshaft/rocker change. Once you have suspension and brakes sorted, you can then look at serious changes like bring out to a bigger capacity, and sticking a modified head on there.

i used to hate clubmans, but since i got my clubby estate, i've been converted, theyre WAY BETTER than the old skool saloon version. but thats my opinion

Hardly, alot of people prefer the Clubby front, plus it gives you more space to work on the engine!

They are more practical, but looks wise nothing beats the clasic clasic mini front..
