Hmmmm...
for about three months I've been struggling with problems on my project Mini.
But now they're all solved and it's more 'excellent car' than project.
And it works.
It goes (and goes well).
All the switches do what they should.
The fuses don't blow and neither does the exhaust.
It doesn't burn or leak oil, it doesn't complain about starting and it purrs like a kitten.
I think I may have become addicted to fixing my Mini - and now there's nothing to fix.
Will I have to go back to spending time with the wife ?
Best wishes

Going up on the wall tomorrow at work.
Priceless piece of wisdom.

Best wishes

What you do now is the opposite of what most people seem to do with Minis. You maintain it so it stays like this, otherwise it'll bite your wallet hard in a couple of years.

Matilda's like that.
I just drive her, make her shiney, drive her, make her shiney, drive her, make her shiney, drive her, make her shiney.
It's peculiar behaviour, but it's apparenlty what you do with cars.
I just drive her, make her shiney, drive her, make her shiney, drive her, make her shiney, drive her, make her shiney.

You maintain it, and save for when something does go wrong.
Or you get another project!

Sell it quickly before something goes wrong!!!!
Only joking, look after and pamper it so that it knows you love it and it will love you back
