wattage has nothing to do with loudness!
and that 220watts is probably a peak figure, try looking for some RMS figured and look for sensitivity figures, mine are sensitive to 89db

jbl do some 6x9's which are 92db and they only cost me £35 from bassjunkies.com.
amp them up and they will sound great

i had a set of those jbl 6 x9s and was impressed with them, one thing dont let them use the same airspace as the sub as you will mess things up with sound waves bouncing everywhere!!

220W will be peak power, always look for the RMS figure. Peak power is the "theoretical" power that the speakers can take for a very negligable time. Sony do make some good 10cm speakers for going behind mini dashboards (in the airvents) however if your looking for something like 6x9`s then look at Focal or JL. Even then 6x9`s arent that good, they are quite a bad shape for sound reproduction.
