Opened up photoshop and an error message comes up saying

Memory could not be allocated for the activation process. Please close all apllications and try again.


How can i resolve this ?

I would say that you need more physical memory - back up your big files that you dont use much, empty your recycle bin, etc, etc - then you could try to defrag the drive(s)

Not 100% but should help :D

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread to be.



Abit rusty on my PC stuff as im on Mac, but in the system tools on the start menu theres an application which will clear up your uneeded or temporary files. Other option would be to uprade your RAM, how much do you have out of intrest because it could just needed tweaked on the software side

I think your meaning the Disk Cleanup process.

Click start
Run
then type in :D cleanmgr.exe
