Been ages since i've been on here (nearlly a year) continued with a few bits but due to funds not as much as i would like, i have purchased all of the components for the new engine but then just before i came back to Uni had a major set back and an incident with a roundabout and advertising sign :-

Back from uni for a few days so have continued to get the mini ready for the new front end, removed the wings and front panel, thankfully there is no rust under the scuttle or on the inner wings

Been a little while since I even came on here 2010 by the looks of it....pretty much got the flipfront on and Mot'd it then left it used it for the summer and then work once my commuting car died...The engine was shot to bits Head gasket blew coming back from the Riv Run '11 and left a groove in the block that was temporarily repaired with a strip of solder and compressing onto it, this held up well a good 5000 miles!
I then bought a new everyday car for work allowing time to build up my 1293 engine, there are a lot of pics that I have on Facebook from when I frist crashed it to taking it to L2B this year hopefully the link will work if people want to look
