I'm using paraffin to give the cooper's engine bay a quick spruce up & it's so effective that I've started to use it on the GT's parts too.
Ting is, it leaves an oily film behind. But this makes everything nice and shiny under the bonnet.

I've just cleaned the GT's carburettor & finally cleared the jet. Will the residue from the paraffin cause a problem in the carb? Do I need to get rid of it with brake cleaner before I refit it?

Fanks.
