Hey,
Someone's gone and offered me another Hornet, as they found out I had the convertible.
This one's a saloon, and they only want £200 for it, now, this seems a bargain to me, I may use it for spares for my soft top, then do something with it, but I will be trying to get it roadworthy again, no worries there.
Now, the question is, how do i convince Emily that she should let me put another mini at the farm? I've already got my Mayfair, her Mayfair, and my convertible. Shall I just buy it and put it there under a cover and hope she doesn't notice?

tell her your buying it as investmant and you will spend as little as possible to get it back in a road worthy so you can sell it for more

But then it wouldn't be mine?
Technically her Mayfair is mine as well, I bought it for £300 and repaired it, but she'll drive it when she passes her test.
As for buying cheap, and selling for more, I have reminded her a few times I could probably sell her Mayfair, (completely solid, stage 1, full MOT, jet black interior, etc), for about £1K, then use the money for my Hornet... She doesn't like this proposal?
I think the Hornet saloon is a bit older then mine, think it's got external hinges and alike, will have to check and take a few photo's, or just buy it, and give it a wash.
If it runs I'll have it regardless, and use it to potter about the farm until I get around to fixing it.
