just wondering is there an easy way off reducing weight from my mini but with out taken any luxorys out??
i have removed insulation from bulkhead is the any other insulation not needed which is ok to remove or any over way to reduce the weight?

I didn`t know minis came with luxury`s!!

U could change the glass for poly windows

fibreglass bonnet or bootlid.
Deseam
Debumper
Rear Valence
Sliding poly windows removes winder mechanism. fixed poly rear side windows.
spare wheel
go on a diet
not a whole lot else left really, unless you want to remove seats, carpets, etc.

doors weigh a tonne!!! but fiberglass ones flex at high speed.
you can replace loads of panels with FG/ CF ones
reducing weight just alters the power to weight ratio... so the other option is to increase power.

or reduce frontal area / resistance, (hence the deseaming).

Or smaller wheels, lower the car?
