its only a crappy mobile phone job but i thought id post it anyway........
Its not very long, taken where i live in sunny staffordshire

In the vid you can hear its revving quite high going along the straight, thats in 4th doing roughly 65mph, does it sound like it should be going faster? if your with me? its a 1275cc but i can only get 70mph out of it? is it the gearing you recon?

Maybe it's just me, but I think you should have got a passenger to hold the camera/phone leaving you to concentrate on the driving. The law is quite clear that using a handheld mobile phone while driving is illegal and I suspect that using it for videoing yourself driving rather than as a communication device would hold no water in a court of law either! There have been cases of people recording themselves breaking the law while driving having had their videos used by the police to prosecute, so my advice would be to remove the video before you become the next & think about what you are doing before attempting the same thing again!

thats a straaaaaight road! what revs were you doing in 4th?

and yes theres a growing chance you'll get unwanted interest by sharing this vid, but i'm sure you already know that and its up to you if you want to take that risk.

next time use an elastic band to hold your phone on the sat -nav cradle on your wind-screen .

Might just be me, but that doesnt sound quite right and 70 in 4th is very wrong for a 1275 - does your speedo need re-calibrating after a wheel size change?

Mini sounded nice and mean. but i almost wanted you to have a 5th gear the revs sounded a bit too high. Thought you were going at about 80! And seriously what road is that its gotta be the longest straightest flattest road I've ever seen in the midlands!!

Reminds me of my Mini, but mine has the same problem at 55mph. It really really needs a 5th gear!

thanks folks, i can understand what your saying about the cam, was just a spur of the moment thing really, its a road at the top of my street, drive along it all the time, video remooved il try and do another one, Properly

as for the revs, it isnt the speedo that needs recalabrating, because its my speed camera thing on the dash that tells me my speed, i know it has alot more to give but it dosnt seem to want to go above 70 without sounding like its going to blow up
