hi all ive just bought an engine and its had some work done to it the actual engine is a mk2 cooper s with head and the head has been done to stage 3 the bores have been done to 75mm so ive looked it up and its a 1398 i think, is this depending on what crank is in??? i really dont know a lot about the engine the engine number is missing and has been replaced with msm0196 stamped in its place ive emailed minisport and all the likely ones i can think of but was wondering if any of you peeps know anything about it, the engine used to be in a purple pick up if this helps

hi , i carnt really help you with this, but what pistons are in the block . yours might be simler to mine?
