Fitted a FSP fuel pressure regulator to my mpi, but running to lean on fuel / low pressure in rail. The regulator is suppose to be set up for your car from the factory but i know alot are not. Adjusted pressure my self to good running but would be good to know what pressure fuel rail should run at as dont want any damage done to engine. Any ideas?? Thanks Aston

With a standard regulator, fuel pressure is set to maintain a 3 bar absolute fuel rail pressure, that equates to roughly 2 bar gauge fuel rail pressure. The Power Boost valve is a rising rate regulator, so that as the manifold pressure increases the fuel rail pressure also rises to say, 4 bar absolute at full throttle.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge that goes to 4 bar at least?

No dont have one that goes to 4 bar. So should the rail pressure be around 2 bar on tickover?
