I have just been wiring in my MegaJolt system and I have done
everything now apart from the shielded wire to the VR sensor. I am
told that it is important that I get the +ve and -ve round the right
way to the sensor. I'm not sure what wire needs to go to what side on
the sensor and I'm hoping you might be able to help me out.
I'm using the standard black plastic Ford sensor, and on the rear of
the socket with the metal spring that clips onto the sensor are the
markings "2" and "1" over the top of the wires. Would you guys have
any idea what number indicates +ve/-ve? I'm guessing "1" is +ve and
"2" is -ve but I'd just like to be sure.
Many thanks in advance,
Sam.

No I don't unfortunately.
However, number 2 is Brown&Red and number 1 is White&Red.
Last resort could be flicking through a Ford Haynes in Halfords. However I don't actually know what model of Ford all the gubbins came from!
