I photoshopped my car to make the windows look tinted. I think it looks wicked, and I wondered what everyone elses opinions were. Also how much would it cost?

I think you should go completly blacked out but a medium tint would probably suit your car.. plus to have that dark would be illegal

Vehicles first used between 01/06/1978 and 31/03/1985 may have a tint which allows a minimum of 70% of light through.

Veichles first used after 31/03/1985 the tint is reduced to allow a minimum of 75% of light through.

The legisltion has recently been amended to include after market films etc..

I thought you were allowed any tint on the back (think of a van that doesn't have any windows!)

and front side windows have to let 75% of light through

and don't think you should tint the windscreen.

To get it done professionally would be about £100 i would have thought.

you can get pre-cut kits from Demon Tweeks for about £30 if you fancy doing it your self!

Vans are commercial vehicles and as such come under a different section of the legislation.

I think to pull off tints on a mini the rest of the styling has to be very subtle.

tints on a racy style wouldn't work.

imo
