Hi all

I am currently spraying my restoration - it's an exciting time in my garage haha
Do I need to remove those metal seam strips that cover the wing and 'A' panel or do I paint over the whole lot ???

Thanks for any help

Remove them, paint the seam and also inside the strips themselves, and I'd refit them with stainless clips and spray waxoyl inside them before refitting.

I took them off, cleaned up the 2 joining flanges, painted them, cleaned inside the seam strips and painted them, refitted them with stainless clips then ran seam sealer into the gap and really pushed it in by finger and wiped away excess.

You cant tell because theres still the gaps but its all sealed up it cant rust inside!

I asked the same question months ago and had two opposing views!.

Finally I went with the advice given by both Peter and Jack above.
