Going on Holiday next week to Lowestoft, and I am taking my fishing gear in case we happen apon a fishing lake...
But I was wondering, are there any lakes nearby? and a decent tackle shop?
I know its right by the sea, but I don't want to go sea fishing, I am a lake person really..
Anyone help?
Cheers

You mean apart from the entire Norfolk Broads? There's miles of lakes. Herringfleet is a good one if I remember correctly.
There's also Southwold not far away. And a few rivers round about there.
And one of the least impressive theme parks - Pleasurewood Hills.

Fair enough, we all have our different hobbies thank you.Southwold seems to be a popular area, although i cant comment on what the fishing is like as i find it uber dull
