hey. i want to make a custom dash but i have no idea how 2 attach any thing. i have the speedo in the middle so i want to build around that. i dont have the time or money for fibre glass so im thinking MDF. picture attached for referance

I built my own own out of a bit of old acrylic covered in a red sunscreen sticker!

Just attached it to the dash using a few brackets screwed into the metal in the dash rails!

Bit of a bodge job but VERY CHEAP and i'm happy with it!

again this is really old....
buuut.... built a custom dash at the weekend, using plans bought from ebay (probably not the best idea), it's ready to fit, everything is the right size, just cant work out how to fit it into the car! the brackets that hold the gauges in block it dont they? do i need to cut these or can it be done without? little help... will post pics later.
