Anything from £5, up to £45 for a shiny laser cut MED one, or the rare ones such as Oselli go for over £100.

Your average bog standard one could be a tenner or up to forty if it comes with a gasket, cap, T bars and seals etc...

I recently got a finned one that looked a mess, paint and laquer were peeling off and used my mates sandblasting booth to clean it then laquered it (no paint) and it looks brilliant

I really don't get the alloy rocker cover thing. They are normally heavier than the pressed steel one, have less room inside for nice high lift rockers and the only time anyone else sees it is when you want to tart it off at Mini shows!

But back to the original question, anything from a few quid to ridiculous amounts for the rare speedwell & similar ones. I suppose the bay will give you a reasonable idea of prices if you can work the search on there - just ignore the stupidly high amounts!

I've just painted mine. I took it off, degreasedit, sanded it down, degreased it again and then brush painted it with some black heat proof enamel paint. I put a nice Austin engine badge on it as it was drying. Looks nice and cost me about £3 odd as I've had the enamel paint yonks and I bought the engine decal from thiefbay.
