got a jvc stereo with sd card slot, had it a while but never used the sd card feature, anyway, tried to use it, put some mp3's in folders on it (as i do when i make an mp3 cd, which is plays), so i put it in and i get "read error" and it wont play anything from the sd card, so i tried just putting mp3's directly onto it (not in folders) and that still doesnt work

anyone had this problem or know whats going on?

sorry mate, everytime i have needed to use that site, it as always been helpful. have you tried reformatting card, have u still got the manual, does it say anything in there. i know jvc's can be quite funny for reading certain file formats, and i think they use thier own mp3 file extension.
