I know its been done on the older carb models but i was a little worried because ours has an air sensor in the filter box so will forcing more air through past this sensor cause problems?

I was just wondering if you can use the same trick of getting more air though airbox by feeding a pipe from behind the grille to the air filter housing on a 95 sprite single point injection?
I know its been done on the older carb models but i was a little worried because ours has an air sensor in the filter box so will forcing more air through past this sensor cause problems?

it wont cause any problems because its not an AFM. it wont give any gains either.
