Ok, so finally got a guy coming to do the welding on Juice but I gotta wait a couple of weeks until he's available.
To keep myself busy and so that there's not as much to do afterwards, I thought I'd occupy myself with a few jobs that I can do - one of which is repairing the holes in the seat material.
Has anyone done this? What's the best way to do it? Do we know what stitch is used?
Just asking really because I've tried pulling the two halves together and sewing it but they won't meet properly in the middle.
Thanks all

Hiya,
The damage is on the seam, rather than the middle of the cloth.
This is the best rubbish picture I can find and at the moment, I can't find my camera! It doesn't really look that bad in the picture because of the angle...
It's at the bottom of the seat, the bit you actually sit your bum on!!

To do a decent job you'll need to take the bottom seat cover off. Undo all the clips from under the frame and around the back then stitch it from behind.

yup if you unclip the seat cover at the base and remove it you should be able to easily repair it from the back. lucky its on the seam!

Those are Mainstream Cooper seats (should have recognised your name) and mine are similarly worn (can't complain as the cars almost gone around the clock).
