Hi, im wanting to buy a carbon dash for my mini. I was reli interested in the huddersfield spares one...but they only do it in 3 clock, and i need a 2 clock. However i notice that JonSpeed make a carbon dash with a 2 clock version... has anyone got a pic of the JonSpeed dash as it looks very green in their pictue?

I'll be getting some pics later, will most likely put them on in the morning.

Basically you are getting a dashboard made to your spec. Eg 2 clock, 3 clock, radio aux gauges, oversized vent holes for speakers etc.

These dashes have been a while in the making, i'm fed up of seeing dashes that fit very poorly at the ends, these dashes are hand finished to ensure a perfect fit first and every time.

They are also made out of marine ply rather than mdf, and the fitting kit is made from hardwood, with much stronger bars than supplied with most dashes.

Also available in normal vinyl finishes for £95.

Pics later :)

Its carbon effect vinyl, top quality stuff shipped directly from the states. Its very, very good stuff and is luminescent. It was featured in minimag a couple of months ago. :)

How do you apply this then?

Am I right in thinking it would be like a decal rather; than resin laquer fa**y about with weave etc?

may i ask

if you're covering mdf with carbon fibre, WHY?

The whole point of carbon is that its a lightweight alternative, and you're backing it with mdf?

I think its for muppets like me who can't layer up carbon fibre/kevlar and get that awesome weave finish, because we idiots can work with mdf but want that carbon weave finish, or is it just me lol!
