will i get crushed on onsurance for having 1982 mini 1000 with:
alloys+ arches
stage one kit
subaru front seats
possible rear windows (b pillar backwards)
for a 17 year old any ideas on cost would be much apriciated guys if u have had a similar mini?

phone sureterm direct there usually advertised in the mini world i have my 1275cc on a classic policy, im 20 years old with 0 No claims and i pay £400 on my own policy with mods delcared.

thats on my own plicy and the car is an 1100
i am 17 aswell..
got that quote with adrian flux...
not bad when you consider my other quotes were ranging from £2600 to a huge £13500
there are some companies that are cheaper if you have a provisional but AF is the cheapest if you have a full uk licence...

Yup, mods will ad on a fair whack, but AF seem to be pretty good for modified Minis. I was quoted £1150 for an MPi with centre exhaust, Revos and uprated brake discs, best quote anywhere (18, zero NCB, Pass Plus, club membership), but adding modified shocks and arches pushed it up another £70...
Best way is to give them a phone, sometimes they surprise you.
