Squeaky Rear End...

Hey all.

I've owned my mini since the start of January this year and since about February it started to squeak from the rear every time I'd go over a bump. Myself and my dad stripped the rear wheels off and found that the rear drivers side Radius Arm was seized solid. We managed to work it free and greased everything up. It sorted the problem out for a while but then it came back worse than before and she was squeaking at the slightest dip in the road. We eventually got a reconditioned Radius Arm and stripped her down and greased her up good and proper and all was fine for about a day or so but alas the squeak has come back worse than before!

It's getting quite annoying now and it's obvious it isn't the radius arm or the cone and trumpet. Could it possibly the shock absorber considering the radius arm was seized for so long it might have seized the shock as well?

I might add that I live in East London and so the roads are absolutely *rubbish* and filled with pot holes, dips and speed bumps galore!

Any advice? I noticed there were other topics but none of them came up with an update of the result...

Cheers for any help

Have you tried WD'ing the rubbers, so the shock rubbers and the Subframe mount rubbers they can squeak like mad.
Any consilation, i have completely rebuilt the entire rear and front suspension on my moke, and when i go over the slightest bump the back squeaks like a b*stard, sometimes the WD can help.
Another thing to note is if you use WD do the shocks first, and then go over bumps see if it stops, if it doesnt then move on to the mounts, as WD can mask BIGGER problems, always check the condition of things one by one.
Apparently also, the Knuckle joints can squeak, if theres grit in there in the right place!

Yeah I think once I get the weekend off I'll give her a good going over and strip her completely down making sure every thing's cleaned. Just annoying and the fact people are looking around to the car because it squeaks and not just because it's a mini is annoying me further more! haha Thanks though
