well im thinking of making a metro/r100 sleeper i have owned 8 metro gtis one being a 1.8 solid cam 155bhp.
ive been wondering how hard a 1.8/1.6 vtec honda engine would be to fit.
im sure they will fit as i have seen one in a mini at croft race track a few years ago and think he said he used metro sub frames.
im sure some body on here can help me out, would like to know what drivesharts could be used i heard mgf drive shafts in reverse ?
if anybody has a wiring diagram for the loom available?
which enine is eayer to do?
which model?
is there a different engine i should be using?

Not sure on the technical side but the Watsons subframe used in the mini is a modified metro one, not sure if engine fits straight into this frame but would only be a case of moding engine mounts at most ?
