Just wondering how much money I'd need to spend in order to fit these here seats http://cgi.ebay.co.u...id=p3286.c0.m14 nto my Mini? and does anybody know if the back seats would fit? And what subframes would I need to buy etc.
Thanks!

cost of fitting would depend if you are doing it or getting a garage/modding shop to do it. the only thing to check is how wide they are, if they are too wide you won't be able to use your hand brake. i had rover 800 vitesse recaro's in my mini and they fitted ok.

Well, I'd fit them, I was just wondering what subframes I'd need to get and whether they would still flip forwards etc, and whether the back seats would fit, but I dont think they would. I know there are Minis with rover coupe front seats fitted into them ok so they should fit.

Could do, probably no need, because i saw a set of fronts that were identical but half leather, which were advertised specifically as mini seats  but you think I could get the backs in? probably need some modification with the holes for the seatbelt buckles, I could just make the webbing longer so the buckles would go on the standard mounts but go through the holes in the new seats..
Oh yes and main thing is more info on subframes please!! its confusing.. thanks for all your help up to now though!!

Is it me or do the front seats look too tall? For the backs , even if they dont fit, you could probably have an upholstery shot redo the covers for a mini seat.

Well, I asked him for measurements on the back seats, they're too wide :shifty: And i don't want to buy front and back seats if the back ones don't fit. I have seen a set of front Rover Coupe seats advertised specifically as being ideal for a Mini, so I assumed they'd fit... Would Metro seats fit in without any modifications?

I believe i have metro seats. they fit alright. Quite comfy. But the springs in the back squeak on mine which can be annoying. Cant help you on the subframe front as they were alreay in the car when i was given it. They slide and tilt, although the screw bit for reclining and tilting can be tight to get at if you lean them right back as i do (if you get what i mean). You should be able to see them if you zoom on the pic below:
