That looks odd to me - the tail pipe is going to come out of the centre of the rear of the car, but at an angle - is that right?!

Or is your centre pipe the wrong way round?

He's very right, you're missing a bend, that's going to come out about 6" left of the center of the car.

Yeh, It looks like they've sent you the wrong link pipe to the backbox for it

the angled centre section is a resonator of sorts.

It's meant to help with exhaust wave effects and dynamics, there's information on it on the maniflow website.

And, there is a bend missing, it's laid there as it'll go in the car, quite bizarre really.

Graeme is right, you can quite clearly see in the picture below that the backbox (which should sit at an angle relative to the link pipe), sits pretty much on the same centreline as the link pipe!

As far as I knew, the centre pipes are the same shape between side and centre exit and the missing 'kink' is usally part of the back box - so the back box resembles an elongated 'Z' with quite a length of pipe either side of the box.

That's certainly how the side exit system I bought at MITP is anyway! There is no extra bend, just a centre pipe and a box.
