hey guys, i am now currently in england for 5 weeks!!! so if ur in the mablethorp lncolnshire area and see a group of strange looking aussies walking around give me a toot!, and if ur in the area get ur mini out ive only seen 4 so far, not good enough england!!! hehe, lots of new minis though, 152 by my count and thats in 2 days!!!! :grin:

i wish i had meeni with me, but that would cost a fortune and for five weeks it wouldnt be worth it i want to bring a rover home maybe, anyway... im not here for the cricket, the restof my family except me and my sister are english, so yer we will be touring for a while, if u see someone waving at u is probably me!

you could buy a vauxhall monaro and take it back and see what your fellow aussies say.

i live about 15miles away so doubt u'd see me, shame there isnt any mini meets planned localy just yet!

haha mablethorpe, i live just up the coast at cleethorpes near grimsby, so does flappyplasticbits

look out for a tahiti blue mini tearing across the country lanes!

if you are in grimsby just look over the other side of the river ( spurn point ) and look out for the beens

hehehe yer mablethorp is a scary place..... we were in sutton st jamestodayat az mini centre, brilliant there, bought some s discs and some hi lo's!!! only cost me £300 which is brilliant consideing the aussie prices, cant wait to get to the london mini shops and get some nice interior bits :grin: seen a few minis, a black standard mini, a blue standard mayfair in sutton on sea, a marone and green one today near boston, a few rusty ones too, which is a bit sad, i cant believe how bad the a panels and front panels get over here, its shocking, we dont see much of that in aus, only really ever repairable rust on ours!

vauxhall stole the monaro too??? geese, it should be branded holden, no matter where it is, oh well, if you like that, you would lovethe ford xr-8 gtp, v8 monster, they are bringing out a 5.7 litre supercharged one soon, dad is probably gunna buy it, yay :grin:

yeah the vxr sports/race department at vauxhall have a monaro vxr with 6.0 supercharged V8 :grin:

over in the uk is for sale for £36k how much is the holden version ?

bout 50 grand, my mate has one, goes like the f***ing clappers!!! but doesnt go straight away because its so heavy has to get up the tacho and then vrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooommmmmmmmm
