Howdy!
I've finally got hold of my front door pocket speaker things, and I've put the speakers in. Now I just want to know what is the best way to get the speaker wire from the door into the car? Do I drill holes in the door and shell to feed it through or can you run it through the little hole where the hinges are? Or has anyone tried anything else?
Many thanks...

I used to run mine on the inside of the door from the door card to the carpet on the front inner arch as i didn't want to drill any holes and cause any potential leaks when it rains.

i haven't got speakers fitted to the doors, but i have wires for the central locking going through holes drilled in the door with rubber grommets in the holes so the wires can go through but keep the water out.

Grommets prevent the metal cutting through the wires, they won't keep water out all that much. If you want to avoid water once routed everything and its all in place simply get a small blob of silicone and put it into the hole where the wires are. If you need to remove it later on just give it a good tug and scrape it off from the wires.
But keep in mind that the mini door system is a 'wet' one anyway and the window rubbers will let a certain amount of water into the door frame (which is why the doors have drain holes in the bottom which shouldn't be blocked). Water in the door if the drains are in good condition isn't much of a concern IMHO

Cheers for your help guys! I decided to run the wires from the door card to the carpet and avoid the need to drill. It's working fine and I'll try to post some pics when I get the chance...

It means something along the lines of 'We enter the circle after dark and are consumed by the Fire' It's also a palindrome which is why I have it as a sig - being a fan of wordplay etc...

rite i take it they mesh together when the doors closed to work ideal for quite a few things but that means at shows etc.. u wouldn't be able to display ur car with the doors open and playing music at the same time.

yep that's true. They mesh together when your door is closed or or almost closed. Won't work when fully openend. Never really cared for a show car, just pratical in my case. But yeah for a show car with the doors opened they won't work. Still looks ten times better than the ugly rubbers IMO.
