after 3 months of sitting around int he garage i wanted to start the engine of the mini and i noticed it was runing low on wate so i topped it up.

i went for a drive and when i came back i noticed the engine overheating.. this morning i retoped it whit water and went for a littel spin around the block to see if it was a leaking hosepipe. when i was on the road back the back hose pipe that is connected to the bottom of the rad to the pump blew up i ****** on me self lol.

its like it got pressured the engine was rebuild just few months ago whit new every thing so i dont know what can be wrong??

the rad is refurbished and there is no mayo stuff under the oil tap and engine oil seems fine!!!!

any suggestion?

tnx for the help

Perhaps it was an air-lock? Try running the engine (from cold) with the radiator cap removed for a few minutes until the coolant starts to bubble and then replace the cap.

The system is meant to be pressurised, that's how it works. Old hoses fail, no mystery really. Replace it.

Please don't swear in our forum.

You only get mayo when the water ways connect to the oil ways! It is likely the head gasket has blown to a waterway unless the hose was old. As you say it has just been rebuilt I would assume any duff hoses would have been replaced at tyhe same time!? Most garages can do a test on the coolant to see if the HG has gone.

Mayo can also be attributed to lots of short jurneys..so dont take it as definite proof your Head gaskets gone

He says there is no 'mayo' there!

Very often a newly built engine with new everything is anything but. Nobody sells an engine with ancilliaries and most of the time if this work was doen by a garage the old hoses would be used.
