"Tiger Seal" is what is typically used for people fitting sideskirts/arches/spoilers etc...

I wouldn't trust it to hold your roof on with sufficient strength though! Is it just a skin your fitting?

Edit: Obviously you should also use rivets or fastenings when fitting the above mentioned parts, Tiger Seal on its won won't do much in the longrun!

Matt.

Tiger bond is what I have used in the past to bond stuff to cars.... ridiculously sticky!!
Athough, admittedly I havent stuck a roof down with it :/

Sikaflex 221 is always quite highly rated for panels, though I've been told Tiger seal is quite similar but cheaper.
Did a test with a couple of bits of perspex and some 221 and was amazed how good the bond was. If it's a roof skin over a normal metal roof the loading on the skin won't be all that high (mainly parasitic drag - which will be fairly small if its a shiny exposed carbon weave), main thing to ensure is that you get a good tight, sealed fit all round but particularly at the front to avoid air being forced under the skin and prying it off.
Put up some photies when its done plesae!!

**EDIT: After reading your post and the other replies again, I get the impression that you are talking off replacing the roof entirely with a carbon one? If so, definatly don't just Sikaflex/tigerseal it as there will be too much movement and not enough strength, as the stuff is flexible to a degree**

Redux 420NA?? It's used in the aircraft industry, but I don't know how expensive or available it is for Joe Public?

Iv cut a big hole in my original metal roof and just used tiger seal to hold my carbon fiber roof on, and thats strong as anything and not going anywhere...
