Why do mainly young adults buy cars and then put some silly mod kits that scream out for attention.. i understand the od-rally light or subtle wheel archs..

but why do u need to put a rly-loud exhaust, that decreases teh performance by increasin the mass of the car.... and then put some role-cages in the car that makes it mass higher.. and all they ever do is drive round town.. and nvr end up usin thm... whats teh point ??

at the end of the road all people do is just make teh car's mass teh same as the moon.. if u watchd some TG.. they showed that old cars that had less power and less mass.. beat their modern counter parts..

I liek lotus' approach.. all u need is a engine to power the car, semi-slick tyres for when its dry, and a roof for when its dry.. and u dont get stupid electric windows as standard... just to keep teh mass down

Sh*ts n' giggles.... why does anyone do anything? Its just a hobby and something to keep entertained... everyone needs a release, otherwise life would be very boring. I see a lot of modified cars and think what the hell was he thinking, but at the end of the day unless he crashes through ur conservatory window, he's not hurting you so why worry yourself

The above are right, txt language isn't allowed on this forum, but then it doesn't need four or five people to say it!

Mostly, because a large proportion are under-educated (perhaps generally) about cars, from watching Pimp my Ride, Fast and the Furious, etc too much. I think its the case generally with the younger generation that looks are more important that substanance (not just with cars, but overall).
