Hi guys,

My driver side door has the standard rivnuts for the mirrors but they are loose is there anyway to tighten them up again or do I need to remove them.

If I need to remove them how do I?

Paul.

Not a hundred percent sure, but you can normally tighten rivnuts with a bolt of the same thread, and a washer no bigger than the outer of the rivnut. Put the washer on the bolt and tighten it hard into the rivnut - it should tighten it. Otherwise you have to drill it out (very carefully)

I used a rivnut insertion tool. Its like a pop rivet tool, except you screw the rivnut onto the thread, insert into hole, squeeze trigger which pulls the nut together, before unscrewing tool.

So yea i just used the tool and squeased it a bit tighter. Job done.
