Coil Wiring + Pictures Help!

Model: = 1993 mayfair with 1275 metro electronic egnition
Year:
Description of problem: wiring for coil!



firstly does this look right? i have the two joined wires coming from the loom at the front of the car going to the + side of the coil?

these are white and pink ? and white and orange/browny colour joining into the same connector?

Next

Where the two black and white wires come outof the loom and go to the - side of the coil another wire joings them ? this looks to be white but could be black and white also ? should this go to the - side of the coil ?

.....black and white wires go to the - side of the coil ? one from the electronic dizzy ? and one from the tacho ?

the next image ? the black and white wire leaving the electronig dizzy connects to another black and white wire? which enters the loom and goes to the coil ?

... and finaly ? the white wire from the dizzy does to the + side of the coil ?

There should be 2 wires from the dizzy, one to each side of the coil,white for +ve, white/black -ve .
Since it's electronic the only other wire you need is 12 volts to the + side of the coil. Neither of the pink/white, yellow/white will do, they're both for ballasted systems. You may find the spare wire is +12v often included in looms so they're universal fitting. You need the correct coil for Lucas electronic ignition.

so the sapre wire will go +ve? and that should do it ?


yeah its the correct coil


also when i turn it over i get a high pitched noise? wierd i know
