Mini Speedo

Hi, just a quick question, my speedo is about 10mph slow. What are the likely causes of this?

Could it be the speedo cable?

non standard wheel sizes can effect speedo readings. not sure to the extent of 10 mph but dont hold me to it.

they are alloys, but I think they are only 10", the standard size

have you changed the speedo? or has it been changed??
or is the speedo cable loose???

is the speedo cable loose at the gearbox???? this happened on my mates AX it just needed fastening in place.....

trace the cable from the back of the dash to the gear box and examine its retaining nut. im having a problem with my mini city speedo aswel, it doesnt go past thirty mph.... anyone any ideas?
