Keep boris, i have thought about selling my mini every time it breaks on me. Like anorak says, it all goes well for a while and then it breaks again and you think thats the final straw. However, everytime you walk past it and think about selling it, you cant imagine it gone so you change your mind and say that you'll fix it just one more time You have already shown your affection for the car by fixing the rust and not just leaving it to rot like any other old car. Why don't you have a mini fund and put away some money for unexpected repairs so that if it breaks the money is there and you wont miss it and then wont feel so bad about sudden breakdowns.

yeah, the green ones my project but on top of that i have to keep the red one on the road and usable. its constant tweaking but worth it.

actually im considering putting the green one on hold for a bit, putting it under a cover and saving up to sort it out next summer. there's lots to do but its too good to sell and i know that once its done, it will be a bargain

By the way didnt aswer one of your questions yup weve been to a show last years Miniworld Action day
Thats what spured us on we said next year we will come here in our own mini
And thats what were going to do:)
We are also going to the malvens show in october too

and even planning on doing the Wirral Minis
Wiral -Llandudno run next january(i used to live on wirral)
So were going to take boris to mums and take it from there!

Oh yeh and Were deffo doing the London To Brighton next year

Dont sell Boris Minis have a habit of misbehaving and it always seems to happen in speights! Its never one thing that goes, its always 2 or 3 at once, but once there all fixed, hell be fine until the next 3 things happen! Im not having much luck either with Lily, but at the end of the day, I love her to bits and will keep pouring my money into her, im a bit of a sucker! I know that all my family are thinking I should get rid, but they dont dare say anything cause ill shout at them and tell them where to go!!

You've only had him for a month, it will take you a few months and a bit of cash to get him to how you want him, but your getting there, so neither of you give up on him just yet

burnerking- Im not too sure, but if you have a look in the back of Mini Mag and Mini World, there all listed in there. Might be on their websites too?!

Plus next year is Mini 50, so if you sell Boris you'll be feeling sick as a pig come next year.

dont sell boris! ive only just got my old mini which is in pieces being fixed up in the garage and im always looking for excuses to go and see my mini which i think annoys the mechanic who is fixin him up but i just cant wait to get him home! ive been to mini shows etc and i just adore minis
