Fantastic and Tahiti Blue is probably my favourite colour.

Is it a Cooper Sport 500? (i.e. one of the last 500 made). I seem to remember someone saying that the high level stop lamp is a give-away if it's original/factory fitted?

Fantastic and Tahiti Blue is probably my favourite colour.

Is it a Cooper Sport 500? (i.e. one of the last 500 made). I seem to remember someone saying that the high level stop lamp is a give-away if it's original/factory fitted?

Nope, not a 500, they go for rather a lot more that I had!!

I don't think it does say '500' on the docs, although Rover did issue a special document I believe (many probably got lost/mislaid though?)

I think it's all down to VIN numbers and the later VIN number decides on whether it is or not.

That website link I provided should give you a clue, or contact the webmaster as he'll be able to tell you.

Thought it was about time there was a little update here....
...Just (today) got Boo back from the Mini Hospital.... Dr Bob has done a great job on her...
Follow the link (if I've done it right) and see the 40plus piccies he took of her all nakie and that...
