Thanks Git.

Not much easier than mine now then. Im thinking of getting a custom one made (washer bottle that is) which you can fill up easier.

It is a bit of a pain!
Those pics were taken by Alan for his personal record of his installs... bit of a hobby for him.
I'll do some proper ones once it's all sorted.

Looks good! But depending on how well sealed your boot is, the sub may eventually get around to destroying the speakers on the parcel shelf.

Thought I'd better resurrect this thread for a little update....

It's time for Boo's MOT... actually, I think I ran out a couple of months ago to be honest...

Before we decided to sell her, I went out and bought a new set of Yoko boots, new cat and a set of 3/4 spacers...
so this morning, I loaded up the goods and went to move the old girl out of her parking space... OOer, the clutch feels a little stiff.. tried it again.... solid... ah. need to leave in an hour....
eventually it loosened up a bit so no problem there then, probably caused by being laid up for a bit.

I was debating whether or not to get this done just yet and maybe leave it until nearer the time to sell it... but, then again... might want to take it out for the odd spin before then...

So, MOT at about 9.30 so I'll post up here the results... fingers crossed.

Well, she didn't pass... but it's not all doom and gloom tho...

Failed on... fog light tell tale light not working
dodgy wiper blade
Headlight beam too high
steering rack boot/gaiter split

Got an advisory that the brakes only just made it through on the imbalance check... turns out the discs are toast, so I've got some on order.

Retest on Tuesday, so that's ok.

by the way... new yokos wayhey.... the handling is soooooo much better now.... dayum, what a difference....
*wonders if I can get the same tyres for the new golf*
