that matter, on their mini? If you've got a flag on your car what one and why did you
want it on there? Style? Patriotism? ? ?

If it's on a mini it's just a Union Flag...

Haha is that because it's only the Jack if it's on a flag pole?....where did I hear that before?
I think it's because minis are supposed to symbolise everything British...and the flag fits the bill I suppose!
I think they only look good on Tahiti Blue cars....or if you have a black roof with a grey/silver union flag...then that's ok!...ish!

I'm not that much of a fan of the big UJ stickers people put on roofs though.

I think it's a jack when it's flown out at sea?
Anyway I'm not a big fan of flag flying on a Mini, okay it's all about national pride and there's nothing nasty about it.
I think the union flag looks okay on the right Mini, but it got done to death back in the 1960's/70's.
I'm not a fan of other flags on them though and it's personalisation gone mad.

...lack of taste and/or any concept of style ????
Ouch!!!!!!!
I bought Vern not knowing what he had up top as he was covered in dirt and leaves when we first met, but I absolutely adore his Union Jack. I am very very proud of being British and I love the fact that my mini shows this, he sort of represents me if that makes sense with his roof and other bits and bobs. Anyone with a problem I'll be meeting with a large stick later.
I do think though that if I had bought him as an original Chelsea I would never have put a Union Jack on his roof and if he was just black and shiny I would only opt for an airbrushed one again.
And another in the cold, I can't help it
Actually am I really the only person on here that has a UJ on the roof or have all the above comments scared owner's of the flagged minis off? Don't be shy, some of us do appreciate the Union Jack/ Flags whatever so feel free to answer the question without being ridiculed
