I will message him now and let him know about this topic because he may not have seen it yet.
EDIT:
I had a PM from the guy on the LCMOC forum an hour ago but just read it... he was explaining the situation so have PM'd him back asking him to post on here to clarify the situation.
Knowing him personally he wouldn't purposely rip people off but hopefully he will get chance to come on and make a post.

Here's what I got on my end: Lots of excuses as to why my parts are not here, NO info (what company he used to ship them, tracking #, etc), then the sporratic emails (I waited at least a few days for a response and this got worse and worse until he wouldn't return my emails or phone calls), then nothing. I warned him days before I took this to higher authorities (email and phone) and he chose not to get back to me. At best he is not doing business very well, at worst he is a scammer. I just want my parts or my money back. I can't afford to pay for them agian.right, just got off the phone to the guy who has assuered me my clocks will be in the post tomorrow morning, seemed genuine and truly upset that people have shot him down. he apparently works full time and has just been breaking minis as an extra income. so in effect a one man band doing his best.
my next point is from a professional viewpoint (being an accountant in practice):
it is none of anyones business what his tax affairs are - it is between him and HMRC whether he declares this strream of income!
and does everyone on here declare to HMRC the parts the sell on ebay/forum - nuff said.
general observation:
if you break your own mini do you obtain a licence to deal with waste - so c'mon guys dont take the high ground!
other info he gave me - so dont shoot the messenger:
texas:
apparently your parts have been at a ups depot for 2 weeks and you are refusing to collect them!
oli:
apparently you got some random phone calls at 2am from someone in manchester/leeds and thought it was him (he said it wasn't him by the way). he hasn't called you back as didnt want to offend/upset you.
im not taking sides just putting the info i have out in the public domain as others have.
peace out

Why did he not email me back then? I have been emailing and calling him for almost 2 weeks and I get no response. What would you think if you were in my shoes? If he can't handle my order, he should have refunded the money the first (or second or third) time I asked. He just did nothing, effectively dissapearing with my money. I understand there are two sides, but does anybody want to have this happen to them? It's a pain in the butt, let me tell you. I am not a mean spirited person, I just work WAY to hard to be ripped off. Thanks for your time.He posted on the LCMOC forum saying the guys stuff has been sent and if he hasnt got it then to raise a paypal dispute which is fair enough...

How do I know?
Just adding my tuppence, and with no disrespect, I dont know you at all, but I know the guy who you bought from and he was sound enough, not in it to scam people out of money.

To clear this up can you give texas the tracking number for UPS as on the phone you said you had tracked it to their depot in the US.
Doing that will clear your name and set texas straight.

If he is too busy to shoot me an email after TWO WEEKS, he needs to rethink his ebay business. Put yourself in my shoes honestly for a second. I have been waiting on the parts for almost 2 months, then he won't return any emails. WHat would you think? I'm glad your dealings with him went well. I wish I was so lucky.yo leave this guy alone his is sorted and is a 100% genuine guy

I know I shouldn't really butt-in here but surely if they've tried to deliver it and he wasn't in, and he's been to the depot to collect it himself but didn't have appropriate ID, then surely he doesnt need to know the tracking number as the parcel will be waiting for him at the local depot if he decides to get down there with an acceptable form of ID to collect his parcel!

I was just givigg the guy the chance to prove his side of the story as ,as yet, he has not defended himself.
texas - i have no idea what you ordered but sometimes it can take a long time for stuff to be delivered to the states. My in-laws live in St Lucia and it takes nearly 3 months just for post to reach them!!
have you received notification of a missed delivery? if so as chris says just go and collect it with the required id and paperwork.
I am still waiting for a rad off a guy, he has had my cash for 2 weeks and lives less than 50 miles from me, and he is doing the same thing you say jason is (no contact in any form) - so i can sympathise with you.

It was never delivered. I have never been to a UPS depot. I always have proper ID. You are getting me mixed up with someone else I think. Sorry.Jason,
