If you haven't read before, clicky 1st!

That was early June. Fast Forward 3-months and I've just received a call from the local vets to say that our 'missing' cat Alfie has been hanging around a large house & estate for the few months or so! Goddamn cats, you feed them, give them their shots provide a loving warm house... and then they *melons* off and shack up with some other schmuck. :teehee:

Anyway, to be honest I'm quite relieved as the worst part about a missing pet is that you just don't know what has happened to them, such as if they'd gotten themselves trapped or injured and couldn't get home. This way, Mr Alfie Cat is going to be tucking into salmon mousse every night with slow mice to bat about as he wants.

:)

Hey heeeeeeeeeeey!! Nice one!!
Keep him indoors for 4 weeks to settle him in again. My guess is that he'll nob off again.

We lost our cat Sabbath for progressively longer & longer periods of time. We eventually had him microchipped. The longest he was away was for a year. He was living in different places, but he clearly didn't want to live with us. :)
He now lives on the allotments behind us. He has his own shed. He is Director of Pest Control & has all the bunnies & pheasants he could ask for. The gardners also feed him fresh fish. No wonder he didn't want to come home. :) :D
He's been in our local paper twice this summer as a minor celebrity.....ungrateful little git..... :teehee:
