I'm looking to save some dough on my current Broadband package.

Sky are doing some good combined deals on the Tv/phone/Broadband package.

Has any one on here any experienece of Sky Broadband?

The Tv side of it has been fine for me, its just the rest I'm unsure of.

Internet reports are mixed and it usually only the unhappy ones who post!!

I can't get cable etc where i live(only got Gas a few yrs ago!!)

I don't use the internet for music downloads etc, its really just TMF and eBay.

Anyone help?

Hey Shifty, Yeh I have both think it's about £25 a month I pay. The broadbands brilliant never let me down yet!
It's fairly nippy, no download limit (tried and tested) and mine is on whenever my p.c is on, no need to log in it just starts when you turn on your modem

At first I had no end of problems with Sky broadband but after loads of messing around its now great!

I pay £68 per month for 16mb Broadband (actually get about 10mb) Sky+HD and Sky+ Multiroom with full package minus the sports.

Good deal me thinks.

FYI: If your not currently with Sky you can get Sky+HD, Broadband and phone for £27 per month plus £75 for the HD box. I've still got The Times cutting if you want me to scan it and PM it to you?

Thanks for the offer but I'm gonna tell Sky I'm thinking of leaving and see what sort of deal I can get out of them.

Thanks to everyone for your responses, I think you've helped me make my mind up.

Cheers

We did it, it was advertised really cheap (something like 16 pounds a month) and when we phoned them up they said that the deal doesn't apply to our area and we would have to pay double that. Did that, they've come round and done the sky, but they later said they couldn't do the phone (something about being in the wrong area again) and we're still waiting on the broadband, which according to people's experience can take up to a year.

Don't mean to put you off but that's what happened to us. It would probably have worked better if we lived in a less rural location.

We're with Sky at the moment...

To be honest, I prefer the BT Vision and BT broadband... if you dont mind not having millions of channels, it's basically the same as sky...
