i need to buy one, so where is the best place that would be open on a saturday.

i only need a crappish one

Yea screwfix, halfods, machine mart, etc... just have a hunt round and find the cheapest one lol

Machine mart do some good cheap Torque wrenches,..

Is this torque wrench thread related to your other thread regarding getting the head bolts off?.....

Machine mart do some good cheap Torque wrenches,..

Is this torque wrench thread related to your other thread regarding getting the head bolts off?.....

kinda.

i need the wrench for doin the head studs, but not as in my other topic.

I wouldn't recommend many things from Halfords, but their Professional tool range is very good, with the advantage that it's guaranteed - should you manage to break them, they replace - no quibbles. Worth the extra cost for the peace of mind.

i have my receipt for my torque wrench from machinemart for about £14.95 i think. Top quality tool

Ive just bought a fully C.O.D. torque wrench from Teng. Personally i dont trust cheap wrenches on my engines.
