Hi people, been a while.

Mini still isn't on the road, and theres still some things i need to get done to it. One of which is changing the wheel studs as they are too short. The stud only literally threads in 2 threads into the wheelnut, which of course is seriously dangerous. I have no idea if the wheel studs have been changed before i got the car, so idealy i need to measure them to find out what size i need instead. Any ideas how to get a good enough estimate without taking the hub apart? The standard ones are 130mm, correct me if i'm wrong, so i need to find out what size i need to replace them. The wheels are Revo RFX 13x6 with a locking wheelnut just in case

Thanks for the help in advance.

The standard wheel studs are not 130mm! That's around 5".

The wheel studs are measured the same way as bolts and screws, from under the head to the end. The chamfered head makes it a little more complex but you measure from the widest point of the chamfer. In your case it will do to hook a tape measure over the edge of the flange and masure the length to the end of the stud.
